I have failed as a man, a boyfriend, a father, as a friend and producer. But I’m am not afraid to fail because failure is never defeat. It is only defeat when I accept it as such. I am blessed with good health and a brain that can think for it self. This is more then enough to succeed. I’m no longer looking for anything to be given to me or fall in my lap. I will earn or take everything I need until I leave this earth. Excuses and alibis aren’t in my train of thought, if there is something I want to do or be I will look within my self for the courage and strength to brave the unknown and do it.I am now a slave to myself. The country I live in like so many others have been built on the backs of slaves. Now I will build my success on my back. I will not quit I will not allow family, friends, and any other to stop me. I have failed but I am not a failure.
Producing music has been something I wanted to do since I was in elementary school. I took lessons to play the drums, piano, sax, and trumpet. I’m not seasoned with any of these instruments because my mother would stop the lessons every time I would act up in school or home but the passion for music never died. When I got older I tried to buy myself an mpc but I ended waisting my money on some knock off mp that I had no idea how to use. finally a year out of high school a friend of mine showed me how to download and use fruity loops 6. I was hooked. I couldn’t leave it alone. I would stay up nights when nobody could bother me and make what ever I could to express myself as a producer. I admit the first year or so I was trash but most of my friends and family helped keep me motivated to make more music. They would always tell me that one joint was hard and that was all I needed cause if I can make one hot joint I can make another. I have been making beats for 6 years now. I love music, all of it new and old
What can I say about me. They say you don’t know where your going till you know where you’ve been. I don’t live in the past though I pay homage to it. It has made me who I am. Originally from Long Island NY, my home now being Baltimore since 1999 I’ve been making beats since 2004. I know I have a long way to go and I’m more than ready for the challenge. Inspired by the greats of my time kanye west, timberland, the neptunes, heat makers, Pete rock, zeytoven, 9th wonder, premier, all have affected the way I hear and FEEL music….I make hiphop beats blending the old hiphop beats with the younger generations love for hard knocking 808s. I bring to life what comes to my imagination. Like inspiration its instant, powerful and everlasting…want to know more..jus speak your peace….
